Why we exist
Travel content on the internet tends towards one of two extremes: generic hotel aggregators that hide behind star ratings, or over-produced influencer posts that say nothing useful. TripMag was started in 2024 to occupy the space in between — editorial-quality writing backed by real research, paired with the honest affiliate economics that keep independent media alive.
Our editorial independence is non-negotiable. No hotel, airline, or tourism board can pay for a positive review or a placement in a guide. When we earn a commission through an affiliate link, the disclosure is clear to readers.
